In today’s video blogging tips we show you how to create your own videos, even if you don’t have a webcam. All you need is a microphone and some free software.

In the first part of our video blogging tips we look at just one way we can use video as a marketing tool to increase profits.

Part two looks at the software you can use to create your own videos and another program to make your videos a little different.

To finish we have added some ideas for creating your own videos. There is a great little video blogging tip at the end on how we can even sell your videos on Ebay.

  • Short but effective video. Thanks for the tip on CamStudio. I have been searching for good and decent software to capture my screen and create video and all I found was crap. I like CamStudio and best of all it is free.

    I have a question? How can you convert a Powerpoint presentation into a video. Can you do this on OpenOffice.org?

    It's easy.

    Once you have completed Powerpoint or OpenOffice.org presentation you want to use start recording with CamStudio, then start presentation. Start talking when the presentation is ready.

    The reason you need to start recording first is that when you run OpenOffice Impression (presentation) it takes up the full screen.

    Then when I had finished the video I just used a video editor to delete the beginning of the video which recorded the setting up of the presentation.
