Why Did I Create This Blog

The Marketing Guru Challenge has finished and after a short cricket holiday I got to thinking, why did I create this blog?

Actually I think this is an important question.

When you first create a blog, one trap that many bloggers fall into has to do with lack of planning. If you want to make money online as a blogger, the key to success is to make a realistic plan and stick with it.

If you do create a blog, what makes you think that of all those blogs sites out there, someone is going to visit your site, click on an advert or link (the same one that is probably on 1000s of other websites), read the sales page and buy the product you are trying to promote?

So why did I create this blog?

To the video! I think video has a big future for bloggers.

  • very informative info..... I totally agree with the idea of video but haven't decided how to add it to my blog.
  • Absolutly, Video has a place in blogging.... look at youtube... 100% accurate... now if a site can combine youtube and twitter (probably two of the most used "blogs/microblogs" out there) then we may be able to see changes... I think I may have done just that check us out http://www.twittrblog.com
  • I'm not into videos yet, especially the ones where I need to say something on them lol (english is not my first language)
  • I think videos will play a big role in marketing. Specially now that phones are coming up with better video taking features. We can expect many video uploads for the coming months or years.
